2018
Running For Their Wishes

2018 was the first year after chemo treatments for our founder and visionary and as soon as she received her clean medical results, she decided to organise what would - ultimately - be the first action to create "ena emeis".

Together with her sister and another friend they participated in Tough Mudder in London, a march of 20km with 25 different obstacles including electroshock obstacles, a rope bridge, crossing a lake with suspended rings, diving into a lake of ice, and more. The aim was to raise financial support for the One Dream One Wish Association which had supported  Konstantina during her chemotherapy treatments.

The campaign aimed to raise £1.000 in one month. This target was completed within the first four days. In one month and with the support of many friends and strangers, our team managed to not only double the initial target but almost triple the amount, eventually raising £2,860.

This was the first step towards “ena emeis”.

Konstantina recalls:

“I remember at the time I said that as I was given the opportunity to live my wish and and proudly strive for the wishes of others, so each and every one of you can can do the same.

So this was the first action that was to lay the foundations and make us realise the necessity of making a practical contribution.”
