Mount Olympus
In 2019, before the concept of our organisation was even finalised, Konstantina and 5 other friends climbed Mount Olympus in Greece. The goal was to raise financial support for the ‘Association of People with Multiple Sclerosis of Larnaca’.
After months of training, the group of 6 friends managed after two days of climbing and several difficulties, to reach the top, at an altitude of 2.918 meters.
The initial goal of the action was to raise €1,500. However, a total of €3,116 was collected with the help of all the people watching the group's action.🗻
In a speech she made, Konstantina had stated:
"At some point, while climbing Mount Olympus, somewhere around 1,500m altitude, I got tired and was left behind
and I took a photo [...] I suddenly realised that in the middle of all this green field, there were 4 other bodies in front of me. Four bodies, four friends who were there not only because they loved me and wanted to share my need, but because they had the same need as me: to help, to react, to offer. And at that moment, between the fatigue and the cold, the altitude and the difficulties, I realised it: the path to our organisation had already - without my knowledge- begun!"
